A South Arica visa medical involves two parts.

The first is to see the doctor for an assessment. This entails a medical history and then physical examination in order to rule out some specific diseases. After this you can have the first part of the assessment signed off.

Secondly, you will need to have a chest x-ray which is undertaken at a local private hospital to ensure there are no signs to suggest you are carrying TB. There is also a form for the radiologist to sign for this second part.
